The Haven is a Bognor Regis based project, centred around supporting the community in their wellbeing. At the heart of this is The Shore Café: a contemporary comfortable space that hosts many of our activities. On a Tuesday and Wednesday the cafe is open from 9am – 3pm for teas, coffees and light lunches at affordable prices.

During the week, we offer a range of activities that are centred around the five ways to Wellbeing; Connect, Take Notice, Be Active, Keep Learning and Give. These can all be found on our “What’s On” page.

    The Shore Cafe

The Shore Café provides a contemporary, comfortable space to sit and enjoy a drink, cake or a light lunch in a relaxed atmosphere.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday 9am-3pm, The Shore Café is open as a commercial café. Our ethos is to always put a warm welcome first, do our bit in caring for the environment, and provide fresh light lunches (with vegetarian/vegan options), delicious cakes, ethically sourced coffee, and a range of speciality teas!

The café's ethos is to source locally and run ethically and sustainably. We use Fairtrade products where possible with an aim to produce zero waste and source locally wherever possible. We actively demonstrate the café's commitment to caring for our environment through things such as composting our waste, providing information boards/leaflets and organised groups focused on how we can individually and collectively care for our world.

Table Talk is a table set aside for those who would like some company, conversation, a puzzle or craft while enjoying a drink or some food.

As well as being open for coffee and lunches, the cafe hosts sessions structured around wellbeing: providing resources to help people find wholeness, healing and fullness of life. For example, our Knit and Natter Group meets, in the café, on a Tuesday and our Story Time meets on a Wednesday. To see everything that happens in the café have a look at our What’s On page.

Renew139: Every Monday from 2pm to 4pm and every Friday from 10am to 12pm the Shore cafe becomes a community space for a variety of hobbies and activities.

These are run by the community for the community. Anyone is welcome to share a hobby/skill or join in an activity. They are all free. You can also come and relax and chat whilst enjoying a free hot drink from our cafe, or simply enjoy the peace in our quiet area.
